Who this covers

This policy explains what Film Day collects and why, for people who use an Agency account and for Clients who open a film link. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Account holders: name, email, sign-in details, the team you belong to and your role in it.
  • Clients: the name, business, email, phone number and timezone the Agency enters, the scripts written for you, your approvals and notes, and the recordings you make on your film link.
  • Technical: device and browser details needed to record and upload, error reports, and the usual server logs.

Why we use it

To run the service: book sessions, send reminders by text, store and deliver recordings to the Agency, show results, and keep accounts secure. We send texts only about sessions the Agency has booked. We do not sell personal information or use recordings for anything other than the Agency鈥檚 own work.

Where it is stored

Data and recordings are stored in Australia (Sydney). The application runs in Singapore and processes data in transit. Our processors are Supabase (database and storage), Railway (hosting), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email) and, where an Agency connects advertising, Meta. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and only handles what it needs to.

How long we keep it

For as long as the Agency account is open. Recordings can be deleted by the Agency at any time. When an account closes we keep its data for 30 days for export, then delete it. Backups roll off within a further 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Clients should ask the Agency that films them first, since the Agency holds the relationship; we help either way. Email the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. No advertising cookies. See the cookie policy for the list.
